Chief Executive Officer
Anthony Spero
Anthony is a seasoned healthcare leader with more than 25 years of experience in acute, and post-acute healthcare services, home care, hospice, long-term care, pharmacy, and hospice pharmacy. As the CEO of Caring People, a Silver Oak company, he oversees and leads the operational performance of the company's multi-state private duty home care company providing care management as well as skilled nursing and behavioral health care services. In this role, Anthony is responsible for developing and driving the growth strategy of the organization. Anthony earned his master's degree in healthcare administration as well as an MBA from Suffolk University Boston, MA and is a licensed nursing home administrator. Outside of his professional commitments, Anthony enjoys skiing, golfing, and spending time with his family at Lake George, NY.

Vice President of Clinical Programs, Compliance & Quality
Elizabeth Brown, MSN, RN
Elizabeth is an accomplished home care professional with extensive experience in both the industry and nursing academia. Since joining Caring People in 2021, she has been instrumental in overseeing client service programs and managing compliance, regulatory, quality, and risk functions, while also leading the human resources team. Elizabeth is dedicated to building high-performing teams and fostering a culture of excellence.

Senior VP of Sales
Chris Thurlow
Chris Thurlow has joined our team as the Senior Vice President of Sales for Caring People. With over 20 years of executive leadership in hospice care and senior living, Chris brings a wealth of experience in post-acute services. His strategic vision and deep understanding of the industry will strengthen our mission to empower leading sales organizations that help seniors remain safely and comfortably in their homes. His knowledge and experience will provide our team members the guidance and support that will assist Caring People services to reach more people in our communities.

Amerisa Kornblum
Amerisa currently serves as Chief Financial Officer and board member of Caring People. Amerisa has held various senior level positions including VP Finance, Managing Director of Accounting and Finance and Chief Financial Officer in both public companies and private equity portfolio companies in the real estate, wholesale, retail, and healthcare industries.

VP of Operations for CT, MA and NY
Caitlin Convery
Caitlin has been a driving force in operational excellence and strategic growth at Caring People, leading with a deep commitment to quality, efficiency, and compassionate care. With over a decade of experience in healthcare leadership, she has successfully guided cross-functional teams to achieve record levels of client satisfaction, revenue growth, and staff retention. In her new role as Vice President of Operations, Caitlin will oversee operations across New York, Connecticut, and Massachusetts, focusing on scaling operational systems, strengthening regional collaboration, and continuing to deliver exceptional outcomes for clients and caregivers alike. Outside of work, Caitlin enjoys spending time with her family, getting outdoors for long walks, and indulging her love of cooking and great food.
